Este itinerario nos permitirá conocer las distintas etapas del crecimiento urbano y las características en cuanto al estilo, materiales y arquitectos involucrados en las construcciones más destacadas de la ciudad. Se tratan de edificios, tanto públicos como privados, fechados en su mayoría entre finales del siglo XVIII y principios del siglo XX, de los cuales tres de ellos tienen el privilegio de ser Monumento Histórico Nacional. En total visitaremos diez inmuebles que cumplen distintas funciones de acuerdo al fin con el que fueron cimentados; pasaremos desde las moradas de familias reconocidas de la sociedad jujeña, el Palacio de Gobierno, la sede del Poder Legislativo y Judicial, la Estación de Trenes, un hospital, un teatro y hasta dos templos religiosos creados con más de 200 años de diferencia.

Trough this itinerary, we will be able to discover the different stages of urban development and the characteristics related to the style, the materials and the architects involved in the most prominent constructions of the city. Most of the buildings, both public and private, date from late XVIII century and early XX century. Three of them have been pronounced National historical monuments. We will visit a total of ten buildings that were created for different purposes; we will visit some houses of the most renowned families of Jujuy’s society, the Government Palace, the legislative and judicial houses, the railway station, a hospital, a theater and two churches that were created with a difference of 200 hundred years from one other.
